Originally from outside Boston (Wayland MA) I love the Red Sox and hate the Yankees. Came to the Cuse 18 years ago as a student and never left. My wife Jennifer and I have two children, Nathan and Benjamin who will also be Red Sox fans and learn to hate the Yankees. In addition to running SIDEARM Sports I am an Assistant Professor of Practice at Syracuse University's iSchool. I have a passion for technology and a passion for athletics – what a great match!

I’m the youngest of the senior staff at SIDEARM Sports (and I often make sure everyone else knows it). I absolutely love change… if my wife wouldn’t divorce me, I would repaint the walls in our house once a month to keep things fresh. I’m a proud graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and currently reside in Baldwinsville, NY with my wife, Jenny, and my son, Rexton.

I grew up in Syracuse, NY been here my whole life except four years in Rochester, NY where I went to school at St. John Fisher College. I’m one of the only non SU alums but I’m a diehard SU football and basketball fan. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Sport Management in 2007 and went to work as the Marketing & Events Coordinator at SU Athletics for two years. It was here that I discovered my passion for web design and athletics and found a perfect fit at Sidearm Sports!

I’m originally from Downingtown, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia, therefore am a huge fan of the Eagles and Phillies. I graduated from Syracuse University in May of 2009 with a degree in graphic design and will be continuing my education by working towards my master’s degree in Information Management until May of 2012. I find running fun and enjoyable and am always open to new activities. I like to think I appreciate simple things in life, namely: chocolate, anything coconut, Wawa coffee and being outside…especially if it’s one of the rare sunny and warm days in Syracuse.

I grew up on the island of Barbados, but I now call Toronto home. Back in the day, I enjoyed playing cricket on sandy beaches; now I'm just happy to see the sun and 60 degree days ... I take responsibility for the Flash components of SIDEARM when they work ... When I’m not working, I'm either running the Pro League of Slapball or the unofficial SIDEARM Sports Kobe Bryant Fan Club. Go Lakers!

Born and raised out West, I never thought I would end up in Upstate NY. In 2002, I made my way to Cazenovia, which I continuously called "Casanova" since the town is like a scene from a romantic movie. After graduating from Caz College with a BFA in Visual Communications, I decided to stay here and see where it would take me. Lo and behold, I am now apart of the jazzy SIDEARM Sports team! In my spare time, I love to sing karaoke (seriously, can't carry a tune), pretend I'm a paparazzo (photo fanatic), watch movies (HUGE movie buff) and laugh like it's going out of style!

When my family moved to Syracuse in 2004 I never thought I would stay here for college. I pictured myself in a big city such as Boston or New York but I could not pass up the amazing opportunities and learning experiences available right here in Syracuse. I am now a junior graphic design major at the Newhouse School. My minor in information management and technology lead me to discover SIDEARM Sports and I could not be happier being a part of the team. When I am not glued to the computer I enjoy playing volleyball on the university’s club team and traveling, especially to Maine where I can never get enough lobster rolls.

I am the cranky old-timer that wanders the halls of SIDEARM Sports headquarters railing against the fresh employees and their new fangled “tape-less” Walkmans and their fancy pants non-Netscape browsers. I am also responsible for the research and development of the core SIDEARM software, which is what I’m usually pondering from the moment I walk in the office until I clock out at night. In my rare hours off I enjoy the CNY golf scene, foist my profound observations upon the world through my various blogs, and also occasionally stop in to check in on my wife and 1 year old daughter.

I studied to be a production engineer but got entangled in the world wide web instead. As the resident engineer however it falls upon me to help Chris out with math issues, the most recurring of which is why you can’t divide by zero. I’ve been in Syracuse since I arrived at SU in 2001 for my masters degree and began working for SIDEARM Sports while still a student. I am now also an Adjunct Faculty at the iSchool where I teach web development. I grew up in Bombay (India) and go back regularly when I’m missing the noise, pollution, heat and immediate family all of which Syracuse has a dearth of. I do not drink coffee either, though I can take credit for getting Mark hooked on “Masala” tea.

Aside from 15 years of experience in collegiate athletics and athletic communications, I think one of the only reasons they let me into the organization was that I am a diehard fan of SU athletics (was even featured in an article in the Herald-Journal about Syracuse football fans when I was a kid). I grew up in Upstate NY, claiming Ontario as my hometown (between Rochester and Syracuse). My wife Jodi and I and our two sons Jansen and Jace live in Liverpool with Kramer, our great dane.

Sunny Syracuse one day, or SiberiaCuse the next, has been my home for the past 23 years of my life. I just graduated from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor’s of Science in Sports Management. Prior to SUNY Cortland (because they gave me a big FAT rejection letter out of High School), I spent two wonderful years at Harvard on the Hill (aka: Onondaga Community College or “Ock on the Rock) where I was a team captain on the Volleyball team. The past five months I’ve been living the “dream life” as my mom would like to call it, interning with Syracuse Athletics in the Marketing Department. Considering myself to be one of the luckiest to get a job before I graduated, I thank SIDEARM Sports for giving me the opportunity to continue this “dream life”. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and best friends, traveling, and living off of my parent’s until they decide to throw me to the curb. Thanks Mom and Dad, you rock!

Originally from Long Island, New York, I am now a student at Syracuse University (much like many other SIDEARM Sports employees). I am heavily addicted to Dunkin Donuts coffee and enjoy driving aimlessly on a nice day. I enjoy traveling, especially to anywhere warm with a beach. I also like meeting new people & experiencing new things!

Known around the office as “Ralph Macchio” or simply “Macchio,” I embrace the fact that I am a New Jersey native. I grew up a big Syracuse Orange fan and am currently a student at SU majoring in Information Technology and Finance. One thing about Syracuse is that I find myself addicted to Tullys Tenders. Baseball has always been my favorite sport, as I played throughout high school and am a diehard Mets fan.
